This is a paid position at $18.93/hour\, and will be expected to work 2-3 days per week. \nPACE Program – The PACE Program (Professional Advancement & Career Exposure) is designed to provide young people between the ages of 17-21 with supplemental museum work experience. Explainers are exposed to a variety of museum disciplines while supporting the High School Explainer program in its core mission of providing an interactive social environment rich in both science and the arts in which students can explore phenomena\, learn about themselves\, and provide the museum with an informed and energetic floor staff. This is a paid position at $19.18/hour\, and participants are required to work a minimum of 3 days a week for around 19.5-24 hours per week.

DESCRIPTION:Come out and celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the Black Cuisine Street Festival. \nThe Black Cuisine celebrates the cultural roots of African American Seniors and shares them with the community\, especially young people. It started as a soul food cooking contest among the seniors and has blossomed into a cultural street fair featuring food\, entertainment\, and marketplace. \nIt is the longest-running cultural event in Bayview Hunters Point and has become a place for young and old to meet and connect with African American Cultural heritage.
