DESCRIPTION:Help plant trees in Districts 5 and 6 (Western Addition\, Tenderloin\, SOMA\, and more.) Our goal is to plant 100+ trees in 1 day and we need your help! Volunteers will be assigned to 14 teams and plant street trees in District 5 and District 6. This event is rain-or-shine. This year\, the Summer Meals Program will operate for 10 weeks\, from June 9\, 2025 to August 15\, 2025. The Afterschool Meals Program will operate from Tuesday\, September 2\, 2025 to Wednesday\, June 3\, 2026. Due to the City’s expected budget deficit in the upcoming fiscal years\, DCYF will only be able to sponsor an upwards of 50 sites for the summer and an upwards of 35 sites for the school-year.
